Outside the school 3 teenagers were hanging on the concrete steps that led to the school building. Two of them were looking particurlarly annoyed and bored, the other glancing at entrance, waiting.
Charlie was use to waiting around for the pair of love birds, anyone who knew them was. Unfortuantly the others weren't as understanding about the situation.
You'd think eventually that they would give up and walk away without them, God knows that's what Kaz would be expecting. Then again he had little trust in anyone.
"I'm sure they'll be here soon." Charlie stated nervously looking around. Wesly looked up and stared at him doubtfully.
"We're not bothered if they've decided to go make out by themselves, but they could at least let us know first," replied Wes with a sigh.
"He's gotta point Charles, I'd rather not be left waiting around." Added Quinn.
Charlie looked torwards the entrance again.
"Just gotta be patient for a little while longer," he muttered softly, whilst Quinn and Wes shared a look.
-----
"Well, we're officially late now," Kaz stated with his classic cheeky grin. Lexie just rolled her eyes and entwined her fingers in his.
"Let's just hope they're not pissed off this time," she replied as they reached the enterance of the school to leave.
----
Charlie stood up with a smile and ran over to their loved up friends as the other two got up groggily. Their bodies unhappy about the sudden movement.
"Yo dude, wasup?" Charlie said walking up to Kaz and fist bumping with him. "Lex, you alright?" he asked awkwardly to the girl standing beside them.
"Fine." she replied stifly before joining Wes and Quinn with a hug and laughter about whatever inside jokes they had, leaving Charlie and Kaz alone.
"So man, how was Biology?" Charlie asked with the usual smile. Kaz smiled back.
"Alright I suppose, I swaer sir as it out for me though,"
"Somehow I highly doubt it,"
"Whatever dude," Kaz said, giving Charlie a playful nugde.
"Whatever dude," replied Charlie mockingly.
Kaz and Charlie joined the other 3 with laughs and smiles as they all headed off to the mall.
----
"I swear that guy as letting go issues, he's always mentioning what happened...y'know...before-"
"I wouldn't let it bother you, he's like it with everyone, I'm sure he'll eventually get use to it," Wes replied.
Wes knew Zane better than anyone, and even he still got annoyed by his attitued. Eeverything that had happened a year ago was still fresh on everyones minds. Everyone who had been involved anyway.
"Still...it's off putting, y'know?" asked Quinn.
"Yeah, trust me, I know." he replied.
Lexie caught her reflection in a shop mirror and was pleased with what was looking back at her.
"Perfect as always," muttered Kaz as he came up behind her.
"Hm, yeah, I'm aware," she replied, kissing his cheek softly.
"Oi, Charlie," Quinn said walking over to Charlie, who was lining up to buy some coffee, "Head B still being icy with you?"
"Pretty much," Charlie replied glancing at Quinn "think she'll always be that way." C replied, paying for the coffee.
"I don't see what her problem is," Quinn continued, as they began to walk back to the others.
"The same as most peoples,"
"Which is...?" A shrug was the only response Quinn recieved.
